LORA WIRELESS REMOTE WATER MATER

DESCRIPTION

LORA  wireless  remote  water  meter   is   a   kind   of  smart   device   which   combines   wireless communication technology and measurement function of traditional water meters,it mainly is used for monitoring  and  recording  the  water  consumption  in  real  time,and  transmits  the  data  to  remote management system through wireless means.

WORKING PRINCIPLES

● Measurement method: Double switch-reed detection is usually used to avoid the error caused by electromagnetic interference and pulse shake.When water flow passes the water meters,double switch-reed produces corresponding signals,which are captured by the wireless communication module and converted into electrical signals.

● Data transmission: After a period of sleep, the wireless communication module will wake up and check for wireless commands every second. If there is a wireless meter reading instruction, receive the data transmission instruction for meter reading. This method greatly reduces the average power consumption of the module and extends the service life of the battery.

● Network Structure:LORA wireless remote water meter is based on LoRa Wan protocol to communicate,adopts simple star-shaped network structure with low communication delay and long transmission distance.The concentrator connects with the unified management platform through the GPRS module to realize data upload and remote control.

● Remote meter reading: No manual household meter reading is required, Meter readers only need to operate background software in the office to complete the meter reading of the whole city.

● Real time monitoring: It will read meters once a day automatically,knowing the data of water meters and historic water meters of each household in real time, providing accurate water usage information for management departments.

● Arrears reminder: When it meets the set value of user’s water consumption, the system will send the arrears reminder information automatically, it is convenient for the users to pay the bills in time.

● Anti-theft water function: It avoids the secondary economic loss which is caused by the management department goes to the household to read meters effectively, improves the management efficiency of water resources.

● Low power consumption: Adopting low power consumption design,average power consumption is extremely low, the service life of battery can last up to six years,even longer.
